Our story

Patient Fairness was founded by a nearly thirty year health plan veteran who was tired of witnessing hospitals and physicians treating patients as pawns or collateral in regards to medical billing and collections, rather than as customers that require respect and consent.  This is most evident in surprise bills and other medical charges issued by providers who fail to disclose services and prices in advance of care, yet seek payment from patients for those same services and prices they failed to disclose.  This simply is not fair.  Patients don’t need to be helpless against these problem medical bills.  They just need a solution offering the right information and tools so they can stick up for themselves and dispute these problem medical bills.


Patient Fairness is that solution—offering the information, strategies and tools for patients to stick up for themselves and fight problem medical bills.  We assess the details and circumstances of a medical bill, and suggest questions and concerns to raise to the billing provider to dispute the bill.  Patient Fairness gives patients analysis and tools to settle a medical bill, or to continue to dispute it if a patient is still not getting fair treatment from the billing provider.  Patient Fairness offers all these services at low, flat costs.
